Dr. Morris is a nationally known specialist in

However,
his greatest education was not from school or books. In
1990, Dr. Morris severely injured his own back forcing him
to experience the field of orthopedics as a doctor and,
more importantly, as a patient. "Since my injury and
my experience with many doctors, my practice will never
be the same. I understand how pain can devastate your life
and the importance of a doctor that takes the time and has
the knowledge to free you from its terrible burden. It forced
me to learn, from the inside, the field of disc surgery
and alternative therapies.
Dr. Morris has postgraduate certification in Sports Medicine,
Disability Evaluation, Accident Reconstruction.

Spinal Decompression has revolutionized the care and treatment of

We start by rechecking your Diagnosis. Is it correct and
will it be helped by Spinal Decompression ? MANY CONDITIONS
WILL NOT BE HELPED AND WILL BE MADE WORSE WITH DECOMPRESSION.
Your outcome and chance for full recovery depends on being
sure of the condition that is treated. We are extremely
thorough and precise. We guarantee that your initial examination
will be one of the most thorough that you've ever had in
your life.

Most Spinal Decompression offices have a 5-6 week program,
ours is 2-4 months! We’ve found that chronic and
severe low back problems do not heal with such a short and
intense protocol. Our patient outcomes improved significantly
when we started more gently and offered more decompression
treatments over a longer period of time. Remember cartilage
(including discs) takes months to heal, not weeks.

Besides Spinal Decompression your treatment may include
(depending on your condition) physical therapy, spinal alignment
and mobilization, trigger point therapy, in-office and out
of office exercise rehabilitation, appropriate low back
supports (for your office/home/standing…), and after
completion of the in office treatment, we provide six private
sessions (one on one) with a disc and spinal stenosis rehabilitation
coach so that you retain your back’s improvement.
All
of this is included in the treatment package. No one is
allowed to receive less. We will not accept patients that
do not go through the entire program. Patients at our clinic
will only get the best treatment. We do everything to ensure
your greatest chance for full success and our outcomes have
proven this.
In
a study just completed at our center on patients with severe
Spinal Stenosis and Disc Herniations:
Patients
with severe Spinal Stenosis and/or Disc Herniations that
averaged 8-9 out of 10 on a 0-10 pain scale improved to
a 4 out of 10 within 3 months and were able to walk, stand
and sit significantly longer with a significant reduction
or complete elimination of their pain medications. Most
continued their improvement (better than 4 out of 10) throughout
the remainder of the year.
These
were the most severe and chronic low back conditions. ~20%
had already failed back surgery, most were on narcotic medication
and the majority were limited from walking over ¼
of a mile. Nearly all had tried several other approaches
including injections, physical therapy and chiropractic.
This study is currently being prepared for publication.
No
